Energy Federation was originally established in 1982 to help several nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts purchase weatherization materials cost effectively. Today EFI's products, programs, and customers have become much more diverse, requiring management expertise that is unequalled in the energy efficiency sector. EFI's executive management staff brings together years worth of practical experience stimulating increased use of residential energy efficiency-related products through virtualy every variety of rebate program, wholesale product distribution, Internet-driven consumer initiatives, and numerous collaborative efforts with utility companies, other types of companies, and nonprofit organizations.
