Gary Church-Smith

BACKGROUND: Gary Church-Smith has worked for EFI since 1994, in the Wholesale sales and as Technical Support Manager through 2010 when he joined the Consumer Division, where he now manages EFI’s product offerings. Mr. Church-Smith insures our pricing is competitive, compiles product specs, composes most of the product copy used online, and provides technical support for clients and customers. He is responsible for staying abreast of new and emerging products, deciding which products will meet and exceed consumer expectations.

From 1991 through 1994 Mr. Church-Smith was a Contractor Sales office Manager for Grossmans, Inc., managing Contractor Sales and office sales staff working directly with contractors to supply products and technical support for their projects. Prior to Grossmans Mr. Church-Smith owned and managed C-S Enterprises, (1985-1991) a small contracting and remodel firm in the Boston Metro West Area.

Mr. Church-Smith has an Associate’s Degree in Hotel Management from S.U.N.Y. Canton, NY, 1971, and has taken marketing and sales courses at Northeastern University. Mr. Church-Smith is a Certified Home Inspector after taking the Home Inspection curriculum at Northeastern University.

OUTSIDE OF WORK: Gary enjoys the outdoors, and spends as much time as possible hunting and fish in rural central New York State.  Gary still enjoys carpentry tasks, and with the help of his wife, continues to improve his home and camp through remodeling and new construction projects. Gary enjoys closeness with family, and travels to see family members often throughout the year.  Mr. Church-Smith is also a licensed Sea Captain, and on weekends in the 1990’s captained the New Bedford charter boat “Fantasea” for 9 years off the coast of Massachusetts.
