EFI has facilitated a number of PSE initiatives, all focused on getting WaterSense qualified showerheads into customer hands. The backbone of these efforts is a co-branded online store featuring qualifying showerheads with a $10.00 incentive incorporated into the purchase price.  Customer eligibility screening had to be specially developed, for unique to this program is that while the utility provides both gas and electric service to customers, all customers do not receive both from PSE. The utility wanted to limit eligibility, however, to customers whose water was heated by a fuel provided by PSE, though PSE does not necessarily know which customers these are. This necessitated our incorporating questions into the checkout process to allow us to determine how customers heat their hot water, and then verify that not only was the purchaser a customers of PSE, but that PSE provided their hot water fuel.
