Energy Federation, Inc., a national leader in promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy is looking for an Account Manager. Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.  Must display a high degree of professionalism with the ability to continuously prioritize, multitask, problem solve and work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.  Will work closely with members of EFI management team (IT, Customer Service, Finance, Sales) as well as EFI’s external clients, regarding different aspects of the various energy conservation programs. The tasks and responsibilities in this role will evolve based on client and program needs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact responsible for facilitating development and implementation of various energy conservation incentive programs, including program design, day to day management, solving problems, and managing ongoing data/reporting requirements.
  • Manage the key business activity between EFI and clients.  Develop strong relationships with key client team members, farm for upselling opportunities of additional services, assess changes in business health and activity within clients.
  • Facilitate face to face meetings and business reviews with clients to discuss and evaluate status and health of programs.
  • Lead and manage cross departmental efforts to ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives for clients.
  • Manage the escalation for any customer program questions that arise due to evolving program policies and procedures.
  • Support the RFP process as EFI pursues new business, contributing to service design and service pricing.
  • Process information utilizing Microsoft Office and other PC-based applications.
  • Up to 25% travel to meet with clients and to represent EFI at industry related conferences and events.

Successful candidate should have:

  • 6+ years related work experience, such as program or project management and working directly with clients at a senior level;
  • High degree of discretion dealing with client and customer information;
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and proven verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with strong attention to detail mandatory
  • Self-starter traits, with the ability to work independently;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce knowledge a plus;
  • Familiarity with process flow analysis and problem-solving techniques;
  • Experience with account reconciliations;
  • Ability to work standard hours (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm) and also have the flexibility to work additional non-standard hours when required to complete tasks at various times to meet client deadlines.
